A GROUP OF TWO ASIAN POLYCHROME ENAMEL PORCELAIN SERVING PIECES, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a Chinese famille jaune bowl with butterfly and floral decoration, and a Japanese Arita ware cobalt blue ground scalloped rim plate with gilt highlighted floral decoration, marks: "Fuku" in Japanese, underglaze blue, diameter: 8 1/2". Height: 3 1/4" Diameter: 8 1/4" Provenance: Estate of the late Charles A. and Betti F. Saunders, Houston, Texas.
Condition
Famille jaune bowl: restoration to rim. slightly discolored, Arita plate: rubbing and losses to gilt decoration, firing inclusions.
