Admiral Franklin, is #22, in the Benjamin Franklin Keepsake series. Presented to the winner of the recepient of the Franklin Medal, awarded annually during Printer's Week in NYC. About fine, in its glassine jacket. "...Being frequently censured and condemned by different persons for printing things which they say ought not to be printed, I have sometimes thought it might be necessary to make a standing apology for my self, and publish it once a year...". So opens Franklin's essay on Press freedom published in 1731 in Philadelphia. This privately printed copy by The Book Craftsmen Associates is in fine condition and signed by the designer, Harvey Satenstein.
