Ming Dynasty, XuanDe reign period, Chinese porcelain potted with flori-form rim, with waisted side everted from flat and wide broad octagonal flori-form lobed petal cavetto. The interior hand painted with a vigorous dragon amidst flames, enclosed within two fine lines around the rim. The exterior decorated with dragon medallions on each petal. The underside having further similar dragon design.
