An Ameca Jalisco Seated Female Nursing Infant c. 200 BC - 200 AD
Broad shouldered woman seated cross-legged, holding infant to her proper right breast. The infant has fully formed Jalisco style facial features and grasps the breast with both hands. Visible repairs and restorations especially on the proper left shoulder and arm. Wax prop on the proper right underside has been removed and has pulled away a section of the burnished surface.
