This is the George Bell & Sons (London) 1893 Second Edition, Revised to Date, of H. Hewitt Griffin's "Cycles and Cycling, with a Chapter for Ladies" (124 numbered pages, plus ad pages). This volume is one of the All-England Series. The grey cloth cover has surface scuffs and shallow edge wear, but no prominent stains or notable tears. The spine has surface creases and shallow fraying to its ends. The outside corners are bumped. The brown lettering and art show little fade to the front, moreso to the spine, but all text is legible. The inside is very good overall. There are a few cracked gutters, but the binding is reasonably good, with no loose or missing pages. There are shallow creases to a number of outside bottom corners, but no deep creases and no tears. There are no stamps or other attachments. I've found no writing or notations. All the text and the many illustrations are clean and unfaded, as can be seen in the accompanying photos.
