Description
A silver winner's medal for "Concours D'Exercices Militaires Preparatoires" in the 1900 Paris Olympics, which took place during the Exposition Universelle Internationale de 1900, the World's Fair held in Paris in 1900 to celebrate the new century. The plaquette medal features a relief figure of a victorious athlete on one side and a winged Nike victory figure on the other side. Stamped on the bottom rim of the medal is the cornucopia symbol and the text "Argent" (silver).
