Description
A silver award medal presented by the Union des Sociétés de Tir de France (Union of Shooting Societies of France) during the 1900 Paris Olympics, which took place during the Exposition Universelle Internationale de 1900, the World's Fair held in Paris in 1900 to celebrate the new century. The medal features Victory rising, carrying an armed man with "Honneur Patrie" (Honor Country). The text on the other side identifies the medal's association with the "Concours International de L'Exposition 1900." Stamped on the rim of the medal is the cornucopia symbol and the text "Argent" (silver).
