Description
Hurley Bronze seahorse candy dish (we used to call them smoking stands but nobody smokes anymore) done by E.T. Hurley in the first quarter of the 20th Century. The base of the stand is in the form of a starfish and the underside of the bowl has five seahorses cast in relief. The top of the bowl has five indentations to hold your candy cigarettes. Signed "E.T. Hurley 1925" on the underside of the starfish base. Height 27 5/8 inches. Excellent condition with good original patina.
