A mid 19th century Heman Clark Empire Period shelf clock. 8-day Brass weight driven time and strike movement with seconds bit and painted metal dial signed "H. Clark, Plymouth, CT". Mahogany case with two doors, each flanked by turned columns, the lower with the original eglomise panel. Older refinishing with minor wear, dial wear and touch-ups, partial label inside back. Runs momentarily when cataloged, movement quite dirty. 26 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $1,500-2,500
