Description
FRENCH METAL AND MARBLE FIGURAL SHELF CLOCK, eight-day brass movement with count wheel, and bell chime, housed in a red marble case with beveled-glass door mounted in gilt-metal frame, on gilt-metal feet, surmounted by the standing figure of a peasant girl spinning wool, titled "FILEUSE"; porcelain dial with Arabic numerals. Pendulum present. Fourth quarter 19th century. 20 5/8" HOA, 10 5/8" x 6 1/8" OA.
Good condition overall, figure with later gold paint, repaired break to back marble panel, minute hand with loss to point. Not currently in working condition.
