A CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY POEM SCROLL, QING DYNASTY (1644-1912) POSSIBLY QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795), on celadon green wax paper hand painted with a five line poem within a field of gilt splashes, marked with two red seals, height: 77", width: 24". Provenance: Dallas Auction Gallery March 2011. Purchased from the Estate of General Zhang Zhe (Chinese 1900-1950).

The top hanging support with a tear across approximately half the paper mounting with some tape affixed at the area, some foxing spots appear throughout, some mild cracking and hair line losses of green ground appear intermittently throughout, two areas of surface soil/stain on the scroll, some minor creasing throughout, and some losses to the black ink, but otherwise in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
