TOSHIKO TAKAEZU (American 1922-2011) A GROUP OF TWO RAKU PINCHED EDGE MOONPOTS, QUAKERTOWN, NEW JERSEY, CIRCA 1980, the two pinch edged pillow form vessels with raku glaze, one with three small holes at the rim and inserted ceramic beads to form a rattle, height: 5 1/2", width: 4 1/4", depth: 2 1/2"; the other with slightly large single hole, height: 5 3/4", width: 4 1/2", depth: 3"; both marked.
Condition
In overall good condition with surface rubbing and wear commensurate with age and use, larger single hole example with small chip to the lip.
