A GROUP OF TWO AMERICAN 'GRAFLEX' SLR TYPE CAMERAS AND A 'CRAIG' TRIPOD, NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES, 1902-1913, comprising an "Auto Graflex patented December 16, 1902-August 11, 1908 with a Carl Zeiss Jena lens r. 377834 series 1c, 1:45 f=1 3.5cm; an R.B. Graflex patented December 16, 1902-May 8, 1908, and a "Craig," brand tripod, marked, Made in U.S.A., Los Angeles, California. Height: 48" Diameter: 24" Note: Accompanied by an ephemera pamphlet, "Directions for Operating Revolving Back Graflex Series B," from the Folmer Graflex Corporation, Rochester New York," containing black and white graphic illustration and instructions for use. One camera with Kodak Verichrome Pan film pack still fitted within. Provenance: A Private Photography Collection, Houston TX.
Condition
Some expected superficial wear, abrasive wear, a compiled collection, some losses throughout, bends to pamphlet, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensruate with age.
