West Africa, Nigeria, Yoruba people, early 20th century CE. A ceremonial iron staff with a tripartite top portion consisting of three cylinders of iron twisted into a spiral and a loop. Dangling from each loop is a bell made of a single folded piece of iron. Size: 4.25" L x 4.25" W x 47.5" H (10.8 cm x 10.8 cm x 120.6 cm)
