Eva Zeisel, a rare bird-form Vegetable Dish from Eva Zeisel Fine Stoneware/Hi-Fi Stoneware, Hollydale Pottery, South Gate, California, 1957. The exterior in Natural Terracotta, the interior in Allegro Yellow. Unmarked. Length 13 in. (33 cm), width 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm). 1620-112

The Hi-Fi (i.e., High Fire) Stoneware line was advertised as having been “made in stoneware in colors never used in that medium.” Long Beach Independent Press-Telegram, March 17, 1957, p. 36.
