Description
LEE/ROSE NO. 677-E CUP PLATE, colorless, octagonal with six even scallops between corners. Extremely rare. Midwestern. 1828-1840. 3 1/2" across.
Excellent condition for this plate, partial loss of several scallops and light flaking and tipping to some others, several small top-rim spalls.
Literature: Lee/Rose - American Glass Cup Plates, p. 366. Like Bourne - The William J. Elsholz collection, Vol. III, p. 483, lot 1801.
