LEE/ROSE NO. 183 CUP PLATE, colorless, 36 bull's-eye scallops. Extremely rare. Midwestern. 1830-1845. 3 1/2" D.
Excellent condition for this rim, partial loss of one scallop, six others lightly tipped, plus mold roughness.
Literature: Lee/Rose - American Glass Cup Plates, p. 149. Like Bourne - The William J. Elsholz collection, Vol. II, p. 227, lot 874.
