Description
LEE/ROSE NO. 63-X-1 CUP PLATE, colorless, major variation with 59 even scallops. Extremely rare, possibly unique. Probably French or English, most likely French. 1830-1850. 3 13/16" D.
Loss of three scallops, partial loss of three others, and some others slightly tipped, two moderate top-rim spalls and some light top-rim flaking.

Catalogue Note: We cannot find any record of this plate with 59 scallops. Rose recorded only two examples of the standard version with 56 scallops.
