Frida Kahlo (Mexican; 1907-1954) 1941 "Dia de Muertos" Original Oil Pastel on Paper Professionally Framed W/COA & Digital Analysis by Ruth Alvarado Rivera - This stunning piece is an original oil pastel on paper drawing by renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. The piece is titled "Dia de Muertos", and is a still life drawing of two sugar skull decorations, fruits, and boquet of flowers. This is truly a special piece, as the sugar skulls are named "Frida" and "Diego", for Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, who was also a prominent Mexican painter, and Frida's long time partner. The piece has been professionally framed under non-glare plexiglass in a beautiful wooden frame. The piece will come with two COAs; one from the Museo Nacional De Historia, and one from Ruth Rivera. Ruth Maria Alvarado Rivera, was the granddaughter of Diego Rivera, and the authorized person in charge of authenticating his work, along with Frida Kahlo's. The piece will also come with an "Analisis Digital de la Obra" (digital analysis of the work) done by Ruth Alvarado Rivera. This is truly a spectacular investment piece. The piece itself measures approx. 16" x 20", and the frame measures approx. 29" x 25" x 2.5".
