Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain in form of a Buddha's hand citron (Citrus Chirocarpus) derives its Chinese name FoShou and the alternative English name of "Finger Citron" from its odd shape. Standing on its branching stem and leaves, faces upward. It symbolizes "Much Happiness" and is used as an offering for the altar during the Chinese New Year. The Jade stone carving is smooth.
Displayed elegantly upon elaborately carved hardwood stand.
