Silk with multi-colored silk threads, silk tassels, inside paper and silk lining, metal discs. China, late Qing Dynasty

This highly decorative lady's cloud collar is richly embroidered with figurative and nature sceneries. At the margin, it is framed by several woven borders which are then adorned by a delicate silk wickerwork bearing metal disks and numerous multi-colored silk tassels.

Condition: Good condition, some material loss to inside lining and woven borders
