Description
Ink and color on silk of lotus flowers and cranes from the late Ming to early Qing dynasty. It has no seals or signatures. It is framed and matted. Dimensions are 39 3/4 inches tall X 17 1/4 inches wide. The frame is 50 1/2 inches tall X 24 7/8inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It has age wear and some minor repairs.
Provenance: From a Houston, Texas collector. Collector was an executive at a major oil company and was based in Singapore and Hong Kong from the1970s to early 1980s.
