Description
JOHN LEECH (BRITISH, 1817-1864) SATIRICAL PRINTS, hand-colored lithograph on paper, two examples framed together, one titled "Hercules 'takes' a Draper's Shop" and the other "Lucy Glitters showing the way", matted and housed under glass in a modern frame. Together with a William Angus (British, 1752-1821) engraved view of "Lacy House in Middlesex", published in 1793; and a hand-colored view of "LANDSDOWN CRESCENT, BATH" published in 1829 by Jones & Co., both matted and housed under glass in modern frames. Three pieces total. 18th and 19th century. Leech prints 5" x 7" sight, 15 3/4" x 12 3/4" OA.
Each with minor even toning. "Lacy House" with minor foxing. Not examined out of frames.
