Description
A SET OF TEN BRITISH SPORTING PRINTS AND A COPY OF "Famous Sporting Prints - Shooting," CIRCA 1930, individually framed offset lithographs reproduced from Orme's Collection of British Field Sport at the British Museum, together with "Famous Sporting Prints: VII - Shooting," edited by George Kendall, published by The Studio, Ltd., London and William Edwin Rudge, New York, 1930, with eight color plates; prints approximately 14" x 18", framed 19 3/4" x 24".
Condition
The prints are toned and the colors have faded, some with mottled discoloration in the sheet or fox marks. Prints are framed under a top mat and under glass. Not examined out of the frame. "Famous Sporting Prints: - Shooting," has original paper covers with some toning and wear at edges with minor tears and creases.
