January 11, 1862-Dated Civil War Period, Pennsylvania, Hand-Colored Baptism Certificate, in German, by “C W Hayne,” Choice Extremely Fine.
1862-Dated Civil War Period, Authentic Baptism Certificate written in German, measuring 14” x 17”, original Hand-Colored. Gorgeous in its overall appearance and quite scarce having the brown ink handwritten name “C W Hayne” below the figure at right. Included is an entire typewritten transcription/translation of the manuscript portion of the Certificate. Harwe Joseph was baptized on June 29, 1862 in Pennsylvania with lots of family details. Another name is written at top on verso. A lovely example for display! (2 items)
