Item Details

Description

Tis is a hybrid Adams & Westlake lantern frame. It has an Adams top and a Reliable cage and base. This is a transition model where A&W was using up their "Adams" type lids and they moved onto the star-burst pattern base with a simple wire band rather than the more complicated Adams base with flat verticals and a flat base for the drop-in pot. The frame is very clean. It also has the smaller Adams style stamping of B&MRR in the lid. A&W must have re-tooled the lettering when they made the Reliable frames. The globe is a nice yellowing clear with B&MRR cast in a rectangular panel. It also has the Corning Cnx hallmark.
