Ralph J. Bunche, 1950’s Nobel Peace Prize Signed TLS. The two 9” x 6” type written letters signed (TLS) in United Nation letterhead, addressed to Mr. Jim Newton is signed in blue tip ink pen from the United Nations letterhead with their original postmark envelopes. One letter is dated 17 March 1962 and another is 8 March 1962. Provenance: This item is part of many autograph collections of Mr. Mike Newton, a writer for Fort Hamilton Press from 1960’s to 1980’s (or later). It appears that he writes biographies, articles about history, films in various genre, politics and more that the readers follow in his regular column in Fort Hamilton Press. This gives him the purpose and passion to write to personalities, politicians, businessman, royalties and important individuals to gain materials for press releases or articles. He also gained regular correspondence on some of them and collected, kept and treasured their signed photos, letters and documents he received on the mail. He is also an author of a number of books published by Fort Hamilton Press, Hamilton, Ohio.

Condition
Condition: Very good. The letters and envelopes have fold marks. Some paper yellowing, corner/edge wear and tear consistent with age. Each envelop are stapled on the letters, tape marks and blanko ink on 2 corners of March 8, 1962 letter.
