Description
An Egyptian bronze figurine of Horus as a falcon, Late Period, c. 664 – 332 BC, the bird stands on integral rectangular base in good style and wear the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. The figure of the bird is perched atop a tall pedestal base with a narrow component atop a papyrus column with flared top. H: 3 in (7.7 cm). Nicely patinated with mottled olive green surfaces. Ex London, UK private collection.
