Description
Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A beautiful bracelet comprised of red and black glass spun around each other in a swirling fashion. This bracelet is a petite size suggesting that it was created for a slender female or a youth. After the invention of glassmaking, personal adornments were fashioned in man-made glass like this example. A lovely piece either for wearing or intended as a votive offering. Size: 2.8" W (7.1 cm)
