Description
A lot of 4 Roman glass bracelets, 1st - 4th Century AD, the first with a central band with black and white herringbone pattern surrounded by a striped opaque band in black, red and green. Dia: 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm). The second is a yellow glass bangle with nicely twisted pattern and light iridescence. Dia: 3 1/8 in (7.9 cm), the third is a Roman blue glass bangle with translucent blue color. Dia: 3 in (7.6 cm), and the last an Islamic glass bracelet, c. 8th - 10th Century AD, in pale translucent green with outer band of swirls in vibrant yellow, orange, black and white. Dia: 2 3/8 in (6 cm). First two: Ex Early Times Auction, (July, 1978), lot A-27; the last two: Ex Coliseum Coin Exchange.
