Description: A classic shin-hanga landscape of a late afternoon snow scene over the Kamo River, Kyoto. The Print exhibits a simple color scheme of rich blue tones contrasting with the white snow covering the land.
Goyo Hashiguchi (1880-1920) was a Japanese shin-hanga artist. He was well known for high quality prints of women with vanity subjects such as bathing, applying make-up, and brushing hair.
