GEORGE V: (1865-1936) King of the United Kingdom 1910-36. Vintage signed sepia carte-de-visite photograph, the image depicting the King, as a teenager, alongside his brother, sisters, and mother, in a family portrait. Photograph by W & D Downey of London. Signed ('George R. I') as King, in fountain pen ink to a light area at the base of the image, and dated 1935 in his hand. The King has also added the year 1879 beneath his signature, evidently an indication of when the photograph was originally taken. One heavy vertical crease to the centre of the photograph, only slightly affecting the signature. About G
