Description
A Romano-Egyptian fragment from a stucco mask and part of an antique brick. The stucco fragment, c. 1st Century BC – 1st Century AD, part of a burial mask, the forehead above the left eye and part of the hair and wreath still preserved with remnants of original paint. The brick is antique and stamped with number 40. Longest L: 4 in (10.3cm). Ex Oxford, UK private collection.
