STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED HUDSON RIVER NEW YORK CERAMIC PLATTER, with brown/sepia print, having design from the "Picturesque Views" series of the Hudson River of "Little Falls at Luzerne" as marked on base. Unmarked. Likely Ralph and James Clews, Staffordshire, England. Second quarter 19th century. 17 1/2" x 14 1/2".
Light radial hairline on underside of one side of cavetto that does not wholly go through to the front, otherwise undamaged with some wear to high points on rim.
