Description
Harding & Cockson (English, 1834-1860), mid to late 19th century. A group of 12 pieces of ironstone transferware in the Chinese pattern, including 1 serving platter, 1 covered dish, 1 side dish, 7 dinner plates, 1 luncheon plate, and 1 salad plate. Each transfer decorated in a blue, pink, and green chinoiserie pattern depicting a figural courtly garden scene with a floral border. All marked to underside. Approximate height (of platter) 1.6", width 16.125", depth 12.75". Provenance: From the Collection of Mr. Gerald Darby, Owner of Darby Mitchell Antiques of Atlanta, Georgia.
