Description
Theodor Karner (German, 1884-1966) for Allach Porcelain Factory (German, 1935-1945). A porcelain blanc de chine figurine of a Malachowski Hussar on horseback. Marked to underside. Approximate height 13", width 16", depth 4.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Susan Knowles of Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition
Chip with loss to decoration on hat (see image #2). Missing/broken sword in hand (see image #2). Break with loss to bridle (see image #3). Chip with loss to underside of tail. Front leg with break below knee and loss of remainder of leg (see image #4).
