New York Stoneware Co. (American, Fort Edward, New York, 19th century), mid 19th century. A 2-gallon salt glazed stoneware crock, having a cylindrical form with a rolled rim and two applied lug handles, with slip decorated floral cobalt decoration. Impressed manufacturer's mark over "2" at rim with cobalt overglaze. Approximate height 9.125", diameter (excluding handles) 10".
