Item Details

Description

An early 20th century silver enamel and split pearl brooch. Of oval outline, the domed purple guilloche enamel panel with applied flower shape set with split pearls and a green gem. Hallmark to reverse, part legible. Length 3.5cms. Weight 13.6gms.

Condition

The condition of this lot is fair, with surface marks, dints and scratches in keeping with age and wear. The panel is believed to have originally been from a hatpin or similar and has been adapted with an added pin. The hallmark rubbed. There is some visible adhesive to the reverse of the panel. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
