An early 20th century quartz pendant. The oval-shape faceted rock crystal with applied carved smoky quartz in the form of a beetle, with carved smoky quartz leaves to the top and a surmount loop set with a further faceted smoky quartz. Length 7.2cms. Weight 33.4gms. With unassociated case.

Overall good condition, with a few light surface scratches from general wear. There is a chip to the tip of one of the leaves, this can be seen in the photographs. There is a very small surface nick to the top of the smoky crystal suspension loop. There is moderate tarnishing to the metal. The pendant fits well within the case, it possibly not be the original case but it does fit well within it. The case is in fair condition, there are some pulls to the lining and slight discolouration to the lining, the fastening is in working order, there are general marks to the outside of the case in keeping with its age.
