Details: 3Pcs This lot consists of antique waist belt buckle or cartridge box plates from our Civil War Estate collection.

Included are an "OVM" (Ohio Volunteer Militia) plate, an "SNY" (State of New York) plate, and a brilliantly gold-colored Pennsylvania Reserve Brigade plate which shows the Pennsylvania State Seal with two equestrian supporters and the letters "RB" on the face.

The rear of the "SNY" plate has wire loops on either side for attachment and stamped letter partially reading "H.A.D...EE" while the "OVM" and "RB" plates have puppy paw hooks. Each of these plates measures up to 3.4" x 2.2".

This lot is from the estate of a well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Worth Auctions will feature scores of antique firearms, edged weapons, paintings, and unusual items. A selection of post-1898 firearms by major manufacturers will also be featured.
Condition / Notes: These plates show signs of normal period wear that may include patina, abrasions, rust and soiling. The "SNY" plate has a stippled patina or soiling.
