Description
13th-15th century AD. A mixed lead-alloy group comprising: a facing head of Thomas Beckett with mitre; a body fragment with mailcoat and baldric; a body fragment with plate armour and helm with lambrequin; a body fragment with draped robes; a cruciform frame fragment; two fragments of an annular frame with openwork design; four disc fragments, each with a facing bust; a discoid badge with extended hand and legend to the border '+VVERPLA[..]AH'; a pommel cap with cruciform design, dentilled rim; a hollow-formed strap end with lattice detailing; a cruciform pendant with mask and herringbone detailing; a heater shield with annulet and stars.
