Description
A late 19th century brass-cases carriage clock with push repeat. The 2.25-inch circular white dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, within scroll-engraved surround, the two-train movement, with silvered lever platform escapement, numbered 24278, striking on a coiled blued steel gong, the case with knurled carry handle and columns, 5.75, (14.5cm) high excluding handle.
Condition
Dial in VGC. Balance wheel moves when prompted. Minor rubbing to backplate. Some light scratching to case lacquer. No box or winder.
