AMERICAN ART POTTERY VASES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one 7 1/4" H Rookwood vase with molded floral and stem design having matte green and red glaze, marked with impressed Rookwood logo and 14 rays, "XI", and "1370" on base; and one 8 3/8" H Lenox ovoid with flared rim, having a mottled green and blue glaze, possibly a prototype, marked with green "L" within a wreath, "LENOX", and "MADE IN U.S.A." Together with two tiles, one marked for "BURROUGHS & MOUNTFORD" and one majolica tile marked for the Providential Tile Works, both in Trenton, New Jersey. Four pieces total. Circa 1925.
