AMERICAN ROOKWOOD ART POTTERY VASES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a form 6206D example with foliate and leaf motif on cream ground, signed "MHM" to underside for Margaret Helen McDonald (1893-1964) and a tri-footed egg form example with polychrome floral motif on yellow ground. Marks to underside include impressed Rookwood logo to underside, one having two rays and one with 14 rays. Rookwood Pottery, Cincinnati, OH. Fourth quarter 19th/first half 20th century. 7" HOA.
Catalogue Note: Artist Margaret H. McDonald was employed by Rookwood from 1913 to 1948.

Condition
McDonald example undamaged, except having multiple glaze imperfections, as made; egg form example with two faint hairlines to rim and two feet having minute glaze flakes.
