Description
This is a Haida Native American Indian carved wooden canoe from the late 1800's. The piece is carved from solid wood and is hand painted with the image of an eagle and tribal symbols. The Haida people are well known in particular for their red cedar carved canoes, of which this is believed to be a model of. The canoe shows good overall condition. It measures 4.5" wide and is 17.5" long.
