Jeweled Animated Singing Bird Box. Brass case has a silvered finish with gilt filigree corner mounts and colorful bezel set pearls and jewels in the top; the lid is mounted with a pair of pierced decorated winged putti, 5 jewels and 4 pearls. Spring driven mechanism with a feathered bird under the lid which is animated with flapping wings, moving beak and swivels side to side as it whistles. Mechanism is running, case has some wear to the finish, has extra solder at some of the mounts, bird is re-soldered and missing its feathers.
