Attributed to Eschle, West Germany, a mid 20th century singing bird box, the brass case with canted corners, decorated with floral and foliate ornament on a white ground, the corners with applied, transparent, ruby colored half cylinders, the front with slide for activating the bird, appearing from beneath the domed oval cover when summoned to perform his song and dance
