Oval decorated sterling silver box with relief filigree, winged putti and scrolling leaf feet; stamped with German 925 hallmark with crescent moon and crown on the bottom. Brass spring driven animated singing bird mechanism with figural bird appearing from under the lid, it swivels back and forth while moving its wings and beak and whistles. Case in good overall condition, mechanism should run with cleaning, but currently not running. 2.25 in. high x 4.75 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep. Weight: 1.25 lbs.
