An unusual and charming "petit almanac" intended for the young ladies at a time where French culture was "a la mode." Ostensibly published in Philadelphia, yet likely printed and bound in France. In addition to being functional, this almanac for 1802's contents include color plates depicting the latest French styles, astronomical forecasts, short stories, biographical sketches, poetry, and a philosophical dialogue. Lacking one color fashion plate and three portraits of Lavater, Washington, and Jefferson. Text in French. Scarce.
