Description
A Freelance model of a triple marine live steam engine, built by Mr D Russell of Frazerburgh based on the O.B. Bolton design but not built from Reeves castings. The engine with cylinders 7/8".,1 1/4" and 1 3/4" bore by 1 1/4" stroke. Cylinder drain cocks, Stephenson's link reverse, condenser, pump, steam inlet control, central crank with brass oiler cups, eccentric driven steam valves and solid disc flywheel 7cm diameter. The model finished in green paintwork with polished bright-work and mounted on hardwood plinth 27cm by 20cm. Total height 25cm.
